Josiah remembered lots from last year's vacation, so one of his oft-repeated requests this year was to "camp-out" or "go camping," meaning have a campfire (and thus s'mores). He got his wish granted a few times up at Lorien.
Pa helps out with the roasting process
We usually put our children to bed before the "big kids" or adults made a campfire, so we ensured Pa or Daddy got a fire going on a few different nights while the little kids could enjoy it. (Summer evenings in northern MI mean late light, so we could actually take decent pictures of the kids!)
