More Sledding in Flagstaff

Here's a wrap-up of our time in Flagstaff. As you can see, we did lots of sledding while there. On Boxing Day we found a better, clearer hill just a little further from Pa and Grandma's house. Everyone had lots of fun sledding down it over and over, sometimes with as many as five on a sled!

Back home at Grandma's the kids all enjoyed the paper crowns and mustaches in the Christmas crackers from Nicole and Dave!

Christmas Day Sledding

We had perfect Christmas weather in Flagstaff--lots of snow on Christmas Eve and a beautiful Christmas day on which to go sledding! We didn't go far--just to the forest access near Grandma and Pa's house--which was perfect for the children. Once they were worn out, wet through, and cold, we tramped back to the house for hot cocoa by the fire.

Abby was brave enough to go by herself this time!

Anna even took Willow down!

Clara rode down on Daddy's back and enjoyed it overall

Christmas Day

Here's a picture post to record our Christmas celebration in Flagstaff . . .

We opened stockings (fortunately Grandma had extras, since we forgot ours in Phoenix!):

As you can see, Clara did not want to participate in a sister picture

Sweet Willow . . . sorry, Girl--not the most flattering picture of you! :)

I love this picture of Abby and her Pa!

After stockings, we ate breakfast and read the Christmas story. Then the kids got to open their presents!

Great-grandma McNinch knit the girls matching hats!
