The weekend after the girls' birthday, most of the relatives from Flagstaff came down to celebrate! Grandma and Pa arrived Friday evening, and Saturday morning we had beautiful weather for a bike ride. We hooked up the trailers, loaded up the kids, and took off for the "duck park" a few miles northwest of our home along the canal. Everyone enjoyed the morning . . .
Like father, like son
Contrary to Lydia's seriousness in the pictures below, she (and Abby and Josiah) did actually love seeing all the birds and ducks. They also loved running at them and scaring them off, too!

Around lunchtime on Saturday, James, Emily, Anna, Elias, and Kezia arrived. We had a fun afternoon with all of them, mostly hanging out in the back yard--it was a particularly warm afternoon for February. Uncle James obliged everyone by pulling the wagon around and around and around.
